door stopper
Install stoppers and stoppers on the door to prevent accidents during work. The shape and size of the stopper and the opening stopper are different.
Prevent accidents with door stoppers and door locks
The double doors of trucks are large and easily affected by the wind. The weight of the door is also very heavy, and it is very dangerous to be blown by the wind because of the flat structure. If you pinch your fingers or arms, it can lead to serious injuries such as broken bones, and if you accidentally pinch your head, it can also lead to a serious accident.
If there is a stopper or opening stopper, the risk of the door suddenly closing during strong winds can be prevented, so it is possible to unload safely.
Types of door stoppers and door locks
If the strength of the stopper or opening stopper is weak, the main body and the rod part may break in strong winds, so it is necessary to pay attention to the materials used for the main body and the mounting method. In many cases, it is a type that is directly tightened with screws on the door, so it can be firmly fixed.
Yamada Body Works has two types of products, "iron" and "stainless". Depending on the application, we also have a T-shaped "open stopper", a "270 degree stopper" that holds the door on the side of the loading platform, and a "90 degree stopper" that is bent at a right angle.
"Open Stopper" is the most commonly used door stopper for double doors of trucks. In order to fix the double door in the open state, hook the tip of the T-shaped (bottle opener-like) hook attached to the door to the T-shaped receiver attached to the side of the cargo bed. Since the door is fixed to the side of the loading platform, it is relatively resistant to the effects of wind.
The "270 degree stopper" is a device that holds the door on the side of the cargo bed with a stopper installed under the cargo bed when the double door is fully opened (opened 270 degrees). The "270 degree stopper" is generally fixed to the frame such as the horizontal joist under the cargo bed, so it is stronger against the wind than the "open stopper".
The 90-degree stopper is installed on the inside of the double door, and the tip of the stopper is bent at a right angle. It is a part that is used for purposes such as keeping It is used for delivery trucks that frequently load and unload in narrow spaces, such as on roads where it would be dangerous to open a double door with a large turning radius, or at pickup locations where the parking space is too narrow to open the door. The "90 degree stopper" is fixed with the door open, so it is strongly affected by the wind. When installing the "90 degree stopper", be sure to attach it to the double door with screws or bolts.
