Types of tilt hinge pins

Yamada Body Works tilt hinge pins come in variations that are compatible with most hinges and are easy to install.

Trivalent plated iron and stainless steel are available, and hinge pins with long necks for wide hinges and folding type hinge pins are also available. The sizes are 12.7 mm and 16 mm in diameter, and the length under the neck is 100 mm, 105 mm, 109 mm, 110 mm, and 120 mm.

To install, pass the hinge pin through the tilt hinge and put the attached pin washer on the tip of the hinge pin that comes out of the hinge.

Next, insert a cotter pin into the hole at the tip of the hinge pin and bend the tips of the two cotter pins with pliers. The cotter pins have a slightly longer and shorter length for easier work. The two tips are basically bent to open left and right. By bending it to the left and right, the tilt hinge pin plays a role in preventing it from falling out of the hinge.

For the folding type, after inserting the pin, fold down the stopper at the tip of the pin in the horizontal direction. Install the attached spring between the tilt hinge head and the hinge.
