Parts for the switch in the cab
When replacing or installing switches in the cab, be sure to align the parts that come with the switches, such as harnesses and brackets, together. There are different types of switch parts for each manufacturer and model.
Types of parts for switches in the cab
Switch parts mainly consist of parts that operate switches such as "relays" and "harnesses" and parts that fix switches such as "brackets" and "spacers". Like the switch itself, these parts may break down or break if used for a long period of time, so it is necessary to prepare replacement parts.
Points to note when purchasing in-cab switch parts
Switches mounted inside the cab of trucks will not fit into the panel without brackets, or they will be recessed if height brackets are not used. In this way, each switch has a product that must be installed in combination with the specified bracket, so please be sure to purchase it as a set.
Also, the switch cannot be operated normally without using not only the main body but also the relay and harness. The manufacturer instructs that the switch in the cab must be installed in combination with the relay for safety in order to use it in the cab. This is the same for low-current products such as LED marker lamps. There are two types of relays, one for 12V and one for 24V, so be sure to match the voltage of the battery you are using. In particular, Mitsubishi Canter after Bluetec released after 2010 has two types of power supply, 12V and 24V, so be careful.
Harnesses with couplers are required for the switch body and relay, so please purchase them together. We also sell harnesses that allow you to wire the switch body and relay at the same time. Troublesome wiring work is not required. Please consider it for the improvement of workability.
